i have a DCS-5222LB1 overall its a decent camera. i have it mounted on a pole inside an enclosure outside my apartment. i would say that its protected from the elements. its been down to 10 degrees F and windchill, snowing, sleeting, raining it still works. only thing that would concern me is humidity. but my problem is that i used to be able to see the camera name and the onboard media on a upnp/dlna media app, and i could go through the images and video that was stored on the SD card. No matter what i do, it doesnt seem to show up, no matter what i do. Any suggestions? Ive already restored to default setting in the camera dashboard. I have done the same thing with my router and went through and made sure the correct settings were on for upnp.

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?
I would recommend ensuring that this enclosure is sealed against humisity. This camera model isn't designed for outdoor use.
How were you accessing the cameras media and files before? Anything changed since then? Any FW updates?

firmware version 2.14, i am on the east coast of the United States, i have a Western Digital N900 Central dual band router, the 5222l only broadcasts 2.4ghz, but i use wifi and have it ethernet connected also, so range isnt an issue, i know about the camera not being ip67 aka outdoor certified, but its mine to use how i want. i was able to use upnp/dlna to access my media files on the cameras sd card, using an app on my galaxy s7edge "Bubbleupnp" but it wont advertise anymore. it wont even show up in windows explorer, it shows up in devices, but it only shows ip address, mac address, ect info. i used to be able to view files when i opened up my computer on a windows 10 pc. but like i said, even with upnp presentation box checked, i dont see it anywhere. i hate having to go into the cameras dashboard and viewing images and video in the sd card tab, after clicking each file i wanted to view. with the bubbleupnp app, i could naviagte any image or video stored onto the cameras sd card. i dont think this is something that can be fixed, i thought downgrading to an earlier version firmware would work, but nope.

Was this app recently updated? Might check with the Mfr of this app for help and info. D-Link doesn't support this app.
