I'm trying to connect to my server by HTTP or SSH from inside my network by using my External IP.
From inside my network it doesn't work but form outside it works.
If I ping on the local network to the public ip address i do get a response.
I've read both topics below but i didn't get it working

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Nobody??

Bob thats called a loopback. You'll need to disable SPI and change the NAT ENDPOINT FILTER to ENDPOINT INDEPENDENT.
-
Lycan,
I have done that.
The settings i have are like this:

How about double NAT on the modem.
-
The modem is just a cable modem without any routing stuff in it.
Its a Motorola SBV5121E.
-
So i think there is no double NAT involved right?
Anny other suggestions?

192.168.100.1 login "admin" password "motorola"
If your cable modem has DHCP running then you need to disable DHCP in the router. "Double NAT"
-
I disabled the DHCP in the modem is that a good option as well?
Because i cant get it on again on my modem i even reseted the thing to factory defaults but DHCP is still of.
But when the DHCP of the modem is off and the D-Link is on the loopback still doesn't work.

Is SPI disabled on the router? Maybe portfowarding is needed.
-
Yes SPI is disabled and from the outside world it works.
I got the ports i need forwarded.
-
If you look @ your "Local Area Connection Properties" what all do you have installed?
-
Bob,
Are you doubleNAT'd?
-
I'm not double nat'd my Router is directly connected to the internet no DHCP in between look at the screenshot i took on the status page from my Router.

Go into the browser interface of your cable modem, reset it to factory defaults, as the modem starts to reboot unplug your router and plug your computer directly into the cable modem. Enable DHCP on the cable modem.
If you can get it enabled plug the 655 back in and disable the DHCP on the router.
-
I'm Not able to put on the DHCP on the modem.
I think my provider changed the firmware of my modem.
And when i reseted the modem it got in to no-DHCP modes.
I try to call them but they said it was not possible to put on DHCP on the modem.
So how do I need to configure my router to be able to loopback when using DHCP from the router.

OEPS i see there is something wrong in my post.
I have a DIR-825 not a 655.
Can that be the problem.
Stupid i didn't notice that from the beginning.

Well I was trying to get your modem to reset back into DHCP mode.
Sorry don't know anything about the 825.
