I have a DCS2100+ that I cannot configure. When I use the IP installation wizard it shows a valid IP address, but the Assigned and Auto IP are tagged as No. I can select Setup and walk thru the screens but it fails when i click on Finish with an error message - not a valid IP address. I have reset a number of time with no change in behavior and tried to configure on another network. I have 4 others so i am conversant on how to set them up properly. The camera is probably functional but needs to have the firmware re-flashed.
Is there a low-level process to re-flash the firmware. I know some of the cameras have a specific IP address and timing from reset to get to a firmware flash page, but I have not found anything specific for these cameras. I know that these cameras are repackaged Vivotek IP3133 cameras. I have searched on their forum as well.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Carlo

- What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?

What browser are you using?
Try FF? If IE11, set compatibility mode and test again.

- Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
Try this:
