Title: Surveillance Centre - DNS-325 NAS - Plugin Issue
Post by: Sm[]key on April 18, 2017, 12:12:40 PM
Hi

I just noticed I'm not able to view or play video from my NAS through Surveillance Centre.

I've update the DNS-325 bios and surveillance centre to latest versions but my web browser throws up the 'Missing Plugin on this page' error.

I've tried it on Chrome / Edge / Firefox but no change.

Can anyone help out?

Thanks

So does Surveillance Centre work for everyone else running Windows 10?

Hi i had a similar problem but on a Windows 7 64bit machine. Too make a long story short, after installing Mozilla firefox ESR version which is a Extended Support Release i got it working. But only with the 32bit version. With the 64bit version i just asked me all the time to install plugin.

So try the Mozilla Firefox ESR 32bit version, it worked for me.

Thanks Max

Sorted, it looks like the latest version of FF does not let the plugin to function.

FF ESR worked!

As far as I remember - Only Internet Explorer, and only in "Compatibility View (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2536204/how-to-use-compatibility-view-in-internet-explorer-9)"
