Hi!
I have a DNS-320LW and I feel it very slow. 8)
I had some test about my disk capabilities
Writing test:

And copying large file locally on the device:

Why is it only 12 MB/s????
Thank you in advance!

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)
- What Hardware version is your DNS? Look at the sticker behind or under the device.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DNSs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
On the test PC, is the wired with the DNS or thru a router or external Gb LAN switch?
What if the MFr and model of the main host router if one is being used?
Ensure all PC security software is disabled while testing.
What PC OS are you using?
Try and do a web search for a NAS program call NASTester I believe. Seen it posted here in the forums.

Current NAS Firmware Version 1.04
Firmware Date 12/26/2014
H/W Ver.: A2
F/W Ver.: 1.01
-
What region are you located?
Is there more newer FW available for your region? I know there is for the 320L, just not sure about LW.
-
My region is EU, and there is a newer version on Dlink site, but the date is older than my current fw.
320L and 320LW is the same (LW is white 8))
Is it possible to roll back the fw update is something get wrong??
-
You said you have v1.04 currently on your NAS. I see v1.06 located here:

"Please try, test and use the product out of the box with the version that comes loaded on it first. All D-Link products are tested before leaving the Mfr and do work well out of the box. There many external conditions or configurations that should be reviewed first if problems are found before considering updating firmware. Come to the D-Link Forums and get help for your D-Link product before upgrading firmware."
:) :) :) :)

Can you can upgrade as well. ;D
Were you able to find that NAS tester?
What OS platform are you using?
What Mfr and model HDD(s) are installed in the DNS?
-
I was updating, but now i can't login on web interface. I can ping the device but the setup wizard not detecting it...
-
Have you done a factory reset and clear all browser caches, exit the browser then reopen the browser then go to the IP address for the DNS?
What browser are you using? Try IE11, FF or Opera
What OS platform are you using?

Now the power led is blinking on NAS, but nothing happen.
Did reset the device.
I'm using win10 and chrome browser
-
Try IE11 or FF browser.
Make sure the NAS is getting an IP address from a main host router while you are setting up the DNS. If you don't use a router, I believe the DNS has a default IP address. You'll need to set up a static IP address on the PC using same IP address pool string.
-
Haha... now it's okay. I was using IE.
Current NAS Firmware Version 1.08
Firmware Date 04/20/2016
Copy is 11,x MB/s but it's through my network (cable connection). Tomorrow I'll try gigabit ethernet if the nas is capable to that speed.
Ty for your help.

Ya if your only using 100Mb connections between the PC and DNS then speeds maybe lower.
IF the LW is based off of the 320L, then it should support 1000Mb LAN port connection rate speeds:
Ports
1 x 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port
1 x USB 2.0 port
