Hi there,
As the title says I have a D-Link DIR-615 at my work place and since today in the morning it stopped working. I have 2 routers, one with the server that gives network to the whole building (Dell) and the D-Link. The D-Link it's used to give Wi-fi to the building since the Dell router it's on the 1st floor and the office it's a the 2nd floor.
So, the Dell router it's working because everyone who has Ethernet connection can work, and the ones who work with Wi-fi don't. I tried restarting both routers and reseting de D-Link but it doesn't worked. I supose it's DHCP problem because when I go into Status>Device Info says "DHCP Connecting...". I also checked that the cable works, and it does because i'm writing this connected to that cable.
Any suggestion or recomendation?
Thanks.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Is the Dell router the main host router and are you using the 615 just for wireless access and range?

The hardware version: D5
Firmware Version : 1.01VG
I'm from Spain.
I tried uploading a new firmware but I get the following error: The chosen file is not a valid firmware image file.
I upload it with the Wi-fi, because if I connect the computer with the router via ehternet it does no give any signal to the computer.
And yes, I use the D-link to provide wireless connection to the office. The Dell router provides connection to the switch.

Is this router from a ISP or a retail store? Looks like its from a ISP service...D-Link doesn't have any FW versions for Rev D with v1.01VF.
If this is from a ISP, you'll need to contact those who gave you this router. Some ISPs use D-Link products and develop there own FW for these routers.
