Of all the issues in the release notes, which was the issue causing the lock ups?
I just want to make sure that 1.12 is explicitly to fix this before I update.
-
1.12 works great no issues
-
Same here...have been running 1.12 for a few days now with no problems (I did have problems with 1.11).
-
Unfortunately, I have installed 1.12, and have experienced the lock up issue already once. :(
I had to pull the plug and reboot just as I had to do with 1.11.

Me too...
Same here, made a post in the other thread about 1.12. Only had it running for 2 days. DLink should really let things be tested for more than a few days before making it official, seems like kind of a dumb move, now more people who were still at 1.01 and updated are screwed.

The lockup issue is now happening every 2-3 days if I don't remember to reset the router before then.
-
No, it does not fix the lockup condition. >:(
-
Maybe in the next firmware, if they're not going to fix this, they can add an automatic time-based reboot option (i.e. reboot every day at 1:00am) so that we can "do it to them before they do it to us", so to speak... :)

You know...that's funny...I had typed the exact same thought into my previous post, but then deleted it right before submitting. My fear is that that could introduce yet another nasty bug!! ;D

I was so excited to see v1.12NA Firmware released because I too have had this router lockup every few days.
Unfortunately, it's been less than a week, and we've had to reboot at least 3 times already. Just out of nowhere, for no obvious reason, the router just stops working until I reboot. I can't even connect to the router locally.
Why doesn't D-Link spend more time fixing the things that more intrinsic to the router ... like "routing" instead of stupid modifications to the captcha ???
