Hello. I have 2 of these cameras. I went to move one of them around and the antenna crumbled in my hand. I noticed my other cameras plastic is cracked. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a fix for this? Thanks.
-
No.
Interesting though. What kind of service duty is yours doing? Is yours outdoors and in a lot of sunlight during the day? Extreme temps?

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Yes, this has happened to my 2330L that is mounted outdoors. It's under a shallow eave so it is not totally exposed, but nor is it fully protected. The plastic antenna sheath has crumbled away for the last inch or so of the antenna. The bare antenna wire is poking out exposed.
This is annoying, but it has not affected the performance of the camera at all.

I guess that the case is made well for the out doors but the antenna housing isn't. :-\
-
It is underneath awnings, and it has not affected the way the camera works so far. The rest of the housing is fine. It's just the antennas. I guess I will try calling them to see what they say.

Definitely call tech support since this an outdoor camera and the antenna should not crumble. Is the camera getting wet or are you getting a lot of condensation at night/early morning?
This camera is rated IP65 (6 = Totally protected against dust ingress. 5 = Protected against low pressure water jets from any direction. Limited ingress permitted.)

I have one that failed this way. I haven't closely examined the other 3, but one of the three i just recently moved outdoors to replace the failing one. I was going to buy more of these but I'm guessing they will all fail after about a year outside.

You might contact D-Link support and ask...
Try the work around solution given by B-Man.
