Post by: lsteele on July 23, 2009, 12:20:10 PM
Uploaded wrong beta firmware.  Yeah, didn't know the beta name.  Well still can access share but not the configuration pages.  Can anybody help to restore correct firmware?

What do you mean uploaded "wrong" beta firmware? The device has a checksum and if the firmware doesnt match it doesn't upload. Most likely just reset your unit to defaults by using the reset toggle on the back of the device (hold a pin in for 10 seconds).

Is it possible that you loaded an edited configuration file?  Perhaps you backed up the config, edited it (or looked at it with an editor) and then reloaded the configuration file after the firmware flash?

Windows editors will typically add a carriage return character which corrupts the configuration backup and that causes the admin web server to crash.
