Ill be getting the dir-655 tomorrow and assume that it will have 1.22 on it. Should I put the latest 1.32 on or stick with 1.22?
Ill be using the following with this router,
- Apple TV
- Xbox/Netflix
- 2 wireless workstations (PC's w/XPpro)
- 1 MacPro hard wired
- Cable modem (SMC)
TIA...

Unless you need to update don't fix something thats not broken.

DO NOT upgrade the firmware yet. the 1.32 is stable but still has its bugs.
keep the 1.22 firmware (although I thought it was 1.21)
the 1.32 shareport doesnt work yet and the dns thing is messy

I am using Firmware 1.21 (no securespot) for my A3. I've never had any problems at all with these configurations. I highly recommend them :) Good luck!
Setup --> Wireless Network Settings
802.11n and 802.802.11g
Enable Auto Channel Scan : checked
Transmission Rate : Best (automatic)
Channel Width : Auto 20/40 MHz
Visibility Status : Visible
WPA Mode : WPA2 Only
Cipher Type : AES
Setup --> Network Settings
Enable DNS Relay: unchecked
I get constant good speeds..no problems w. xbox live...no router freezing and the router has not restarted in months. Cheers! :):)

Thanks for all the advise!

Anyway to go back to 1.11, right now I can't even use the router with the 1.32NA03 useless not even AP mode someway.

nope sorry, theres no way you cant downgrade. If there is a way, i would gladly downgrade asap. hehe um the 1.32b03 (the one you have right now), it should be stable? whats wrong with yours?
If you are having lock ups or it freezes or anything, reset the router. If you can log in, tuen OFF the DNS in the internet settings area.
I have my DNS off and its stable (though not as stable as the 1.21 i had before)

1.21 w/o Secure Spot has been totally reliable for me. I just broke myself going to 1.32na with random lockups (see other threads) and would recommend you steer clear of it.
