The DNS-323 shows up on the Playstation 3 XMB but cannot access any of the media files. Any idea if there will be a firmware update to fix this? The DNS-323 would make a great Playstation accessory if it were compatable.

Please try out the new firmware 1.04 available on the DNS-323 support website.

Yep, 1.04 is working good with PS3 for me. I have tried music, videos, and pictures with no issues so far.

does anyone know if it will work with Xbox 360?

Damn, I forgot to try it on the 360 last night. I will give it a whirl after work today and post back...unless someone beats me to the punch.

Xbox 360 compatibility has not been added yet. We will be looking into for a future firmware release.

My PS3 seems to hang for a very long time when viewing a large group of pictures. I let it sit for at least 45 minutes on a folder with 200 or so photos in it. It did the same thing on several folders. It popped up a few DNLA errors but seemed to continue working. When it finally stopped moving the water droplet (I'm working) icon I tried to do a slideshow and got a "network error" Not sure if this is a DNS-323 problem of a PS3 problem. Anyone else having problems with large folders?

It seems that when I use video files from the dns-323 on the PS3 there is no detail when you request information. There is also no preview video thumbnail. Both of these quirks remain even if you copy the file to the PS3's hard drive. Seems strange. Do all DNLA servers behave like this?
