Title: Thumb drive connected to shareport not working
Post by: lakesidez on August 04, 2009, 05:19:46 PM
Model: DIR-655 (A4)
Firmware version: 1.32NA
SharePort version: 1.1.0 R1 (SXUPTP Driver 3.3.4.0)
PC operating system: Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

When I launch the SharePort software I do not get anything in the list, the message states "No device servers were found on the network. Make sure your device servers are set properly".

My router's USB port is setup for shareport and I cannot get it to locate my SanDisk Cruzer 8GB thumb drive. I have tried uninstalling the software and I also verifed my Windows Firewall was set correctly. Any ideas?

its the firmware... its a peice of s*** right now.

just wait 5 years until they make a new firmware that corrects it... but your better off buying a new router then...

dir-655 firmware 1.21 was the best... i had no complaint there...

Is there anyway possible to roll-back to version 1.21? Or since I went to 1.3x am I stuck?
