Title: VTA-VR connection through DIR-655
Post by: Jrblack100 on August 06, 2009, 05:38:27 AM
I have a DIR-655 up and running.

Just got a VTA-VR so I can connect my Vonage VoIP phone through it.

The VTA-VR power light is flashing two times (searching for IP).  The DIR-655 has assigned an IP to the VTA-VR.  Vonage has the MAC address for the VTA-VR.  I have powered off and also reset the VTA-VR but the power light continues to flash two time.  Any clues about what I am missing?

The VoIP account worked fine with a Linksys router before I got the DIR-655.  I do not want to run a router (Linksys) to a router (D-Link) just to have a phone line although it may come to this.

Thanks for your help.

John

FYI...I gave up with the VTA-VR and connected by Linksys router to the 655.  It's up and running, unfortunately I spent $$ on the VTA I did not need.
