Hi all, I am new to this forum. I am having problems with the USB function on my router. The USB light on the router doesn’t go on no matter what kind of device I plug into it (tried 2 different printers and a USB HD). I am trying to set up my USB printer on the USB port. Share port utility error message reads “No device servers were found on the network. Make sure your device servers are set properly” (tried with the Firewall and avirus off). I upgraded the firmware to 2.02 and still having the problem. Is there a setting that maybe I am not aware of on the router? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you enable the USB in the Setup/USB Settings Menu in the router ?

Hi and thank you for your reply. Under USB Settings/My USB type is Share Port. Share port for guest zone is not enabled but I tried with it enabled and it didn’t make a difference. I don’t see any other settings under USB settings. Are there any other settings for USB?

I am having the same problem. It worked great when I originally set it up, but now after a few weeks the USB is not recognized.
In my situation, the USB light is off. When I open shareport, it says my printer is available, but when I try to connect, it looks like it is searching, then just stops searching and "available" remains (thus not connected).

I don't use share port myself, ..but I saw this post with a beta firmware for B1 hardware and it mentions a possible shareport fix.
