Title: New DWA-522 owner and stuttering question
Post by: SapperSix on November 30, 2007, 10:54:49 AM
I'm new to D-Link (DIR-655 and DWA-552) and very happy so far.  I switched from a Linksys WRVS4400N and a WMP300N, which gave me nothing but endless problems.

I have one question, I have very good signal strength between my DIR-655 and DWA-552.  However, when I try to stream video from nbc.com or cbs.com, the video and audio stutters.  I did not have this problem when my media center PC was hardwired to a router.  I tested the same streams using my 802.11g laptop (through the DIR-655) and I did not get any stuttering.

Are there any suggestions for the things I should be looking at on either the router or wireless adapter?

Thanks,
David

The stuttering I was experience is now gone.

I don't know if it was the 7.3.1.73 driver I installed to stop my system from locking-up or defining both a QOS rule or defining a WISH rule or a combination of all of the above.
