Title: WBR1310 Firmware question
Post by: jrelder on August 14, 2009, 11:29:52 AM
I just put a new HD in my Dell Dimension 8400.  So I figured since I had to reinstall the OS and drivers, that I would update the firmware on my router (wbr1310).  The router came with F/W: 1.00 and H/W: A1.  I have never updated the F/W on any router before.  D-link shows six (6) F/W updates; F/W 1.03, 1.04, Rev B 2.00, Rev B 2.01, Rev B 2.02, Rev D 4.13.  Should I  Update the F/W using all these updates in the order of oldest F/W to the newest F/W or do I just use the latest F/W version?  I was not sure if the latest version had all the previous F/W updates included.  I know to install the F/W with a direct connect hard wired instead of being set up in wireless.  Is there any other things I should know before starting the update(s)?
Thanks to all,
Jason
