Title: How to get external download link to a file on DNS-320L ?
Post by: s.rudden@btopenworld.com on February 02, 2018, 06:25:19 AM
Hi everybody, please may I ask a small question
All I want to do is find the external download link to files on my NAS so I can email others and all they do is click the link and download the file
I had an Xyxel prior to this unit & all you had to do was right click an item on your NAS  and you could scroll down and copy the HTTP address of that file, then send to anyone and bingo, simple they could download it.
I can't even find the external IP address of my DLINK 320L unit let alone an individual file address ???? Confused I am
Any help much appreciated
Thank you in advance
Stephen

I believe you need a log in or use the mydlink.com services to set up some forum of access to files for remote use.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
