I spent over 2 hours on the phone with tech support two weeks ago. When configuring the router to allow only websites I allow, java based websites are not working. I was promised a call back by the third person I spoke to, but of couse, I recieved no call back. I sent an e-mail last week and I'm still waiting for a response.
I have deployed this router in multiple locations and, stupid me, I upgraded their firmware before deploying. I now have to enable all websites until a fix is issued.
Please folks...tell me when the next firmware is coming and please fix the weblist issue. IT IS CRITICAL !!!!

I believe you are referring to the web list used by the access control to limit web sites. I have found numerous problems with the access control in v. 3.11 NA on a rev C DIR-615 as well.
I have three access control policy selections. One is for a select few computers that are supposed to have unlimited access to the Internet. Then I have two other policies for all other computers, one which filters by port and one that filters web sites. The first (full access) policy is not supposed to log web access but it does. The second (limit ports) blocks ports on incoming connections as well as outgoing connections so effectively blocks all access when it's enabled. The third (limit web sites) is supposed to only block certain sites but doesn't block any.

P.S. The router came out of the box with v 3.01 firmware and access control on it didn't work correctly either. (Which is why I upgraded it.)

yes I want to confirm that this is an issue, I hope there is a fix soon because ALOT and I mean ALOT of these dir-615's with this version firmware were sold as black friday specials. I tried numerous configurations and it seems the common failure is the "other computer" option, if I select a specific computer I get some filtering, but no filtering whatsoever when using "other computers". I figure the "other computers" setting should be like setting any computer. Meaning any computer is subject to my website filters. But its not working no matter what. Kinda makes the filter useless because I can filter a specific computer by IP or MAC, but if I have a visitor to my network, then they are outside the filter.
