Title: Ability to schedule reboot of router?
Post by: queviko on August 17, 2009, 03:00:00 AM
Dear all,

I'm having an automatic DHCP reset done by my Internet provider every X hours.
THe router shows a "Connected" Status but  no access to Internet anymore until I reboot it... then perfect.

Is there a way to schedue automatic reboot with the DIR-855?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Jean-Frederic

My situation is the same. Needs to reboot the router every day after midnight. Is it possible to schedule a reboot of the router?

An easy fix to this, without waiting for D-Link.  Get a light timer plug and set the time to turn off the router then turn it one a bit later.  You just need to plug the router's power cord onto this timer.
