Hello,
I have configured my DIR-868L as a Wireless AP for my home network. It works very well.
I have a printer in the same room as the DIR-868L which is not Wifi enabled and the unique network plug in the room is used by the DIR-868L.
Hence I need to physically plug the printer to the DIR-868L Ethernet ports. I tested it but it does not work...
How can I make it work?
Thanks
Julien

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
How is the 868L configured for AP mode? Using this? Turning a router into an AP. (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=40856.0)
If so then the PC and printer should connect and work fine. Make sure the printers networking is configured correctly and the PCs printer driver is pointed at the right IP address for the printer. Please refer to the printer Mfrs help and information support site for continued help there.

I did not follow up this setup. I use the "Manual Internet Connection Setup" button and select Wireless AP. It works well for Wifi but the 3 others ports don't seem to work. Is it the reason it does not work? Thanks.
