Title: Two Small Bugs in DIR-655 Firmware 1.32NA
Post by: dcormier on August 22, 2009, 01:41:48 PM
Firmware Version: 1.32NA Hardware Version: A4

1. Using Chrome, hitting enter after entering the password on the login page does not work. Changing the type of the form input of the "Log In" button from "button" to "submit" would probably resolve that.

2. On the Device Info page, under Wireless LAN, if you have a guest zone set up the SSID table is formatted incorrectly. This probably because the row has an inline style specified while the other row does not. I would upload an attachment showing this, but when I try I get an error that says, "The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."

First issue is a Chrome issue only. In IE8 it works fine. But there are more things Chrome interprets differently (different engine).

Works fine here in 9.64 or 10.0 beta might be something with you're adblocker/firewall/antivirus .

Nope, tried on clean installed Windows. I must click on "Log In", hitting [Enter] after entering pass doesn't work. I discussed earlier about this with one of the admins (that was release 1.30, I think), nothing changed in following version. Using 9.64 and 10.0b3. Very frustrating.

Latest 10 beta: [enter]  works fine...

Like i said before works in either 9.64 or 10 Beta . Dunno what setup you're running but i suppose something is messing with you're http traffic , try disabling firewall/antivirus/adblocker and see of it helps .

I have the same problem with 1.30EU firmware and Opera 9.64. It is a firmware (HTML code?) bug, because in 1.11EU everything was fine.

I would upload an attachment showing this, but when I try I get an error that says, "The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."

You can upload your screen to imageshack.us or tinypic.com and post link / insert picture using "Insert image" option.

Just one question: if something is messing with my HTTP traffic, why it works in IE and Firefox and doesn't work in Opera and Safari (same engine as Chrome, WebKit)?. And as for Piotr, pre-1.30 version worked fine. Also, as I wrote, I tried on clean installed WinXP, without any additional program (like AV, firewall).
