Title: dlink dir-825/AC 1200 G1 wrong firmware updated (dir-815 firmware installed)

Hi to all dear fellows

i have dlink dir-825 G1

unfortunately firmware installed in it dir-815  ac model 2.5.0

wan and lans ports not working

wifi working web ui also working  which model shows DIR-815/AC 2.5.0

when i install 825 G1 firmware it shows incorrect firmware please guide how can i install 825 G1 firmware on it?


please guide how can i install back original official firmware to work my router again

Try this to load the correct model and rev version of FW back on the 825:
Emergency Recovery Mode (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.msg163599#msg163599)


If that fails, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

I m from pakistan
There is no dlink support

Unable to reset router whn i hold reset button only blur light blinking nothing else i have done many times but same issue.
Dlink recovery web not arrived tried many times..
How can i install stock dir-825 G1A firmware forcefully?

Can we edit .bin file which makes compatible on 815-ac firmwares

Router can upgrade 815-ac all firmware but not whn install 825ac firmware says incorrect firmware


Any other method or utility can perform forcefully install stock firmware?


Please guide....

obvsly they will not support or charge me money...

please tell solution bro

like forcefully install utility or openwrt like web ui to install stock firmware or edit .bin firmware file to install on this firmware please any one help?

Did you try to contact India? They should help as they are nearest to your region.
Try installing wrt if they support it. Then see if you can get back to 825 FW.
We don't have access to any editing of the .bin file. The FW is encrypted.
