I know these are old cameras, but I can't figure out my motion capture pictures. My camera at night, takes pictures out on the street, yet someone comes into the driveway with lights on, doesn't capture it??? I have a paper delivered every night and never sends a email of it. I'm stumped, appreciate any help. I have the latest firmware for it.

How do you have the motion detection selection area set with in the cameras web page? using one marker box or a few in the area that your trying to trigger?

Thanks for reply Furry. I have all that set as you indicated. I've even cleared it and reset the area of motion detection. It's almost like theirs time frame it won't take pictures and send them. I'm really miffed by this.

Has a reset and setup from scratch been performed?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?
How many other wireless devices do you have connected to the main host router?
I recommend setting a static IP address ON the cameras outside of the main host routers default DHCP IP address pool as a troubleshooting step: 192.168.#.10 and .11 DHCP (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=58017.0)
Test cameras with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=37689.0) both enabled on ALL cameras: DCS Cloud (L) Series Camera Configuration and Mydlink.com (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=62395.0)

So I didn't do any that you recommended, now its picking up the time in the middle of the night I want. It seems to be having a dead period of not taking pictures that rotates on 24 hour clock. I'll figure it out, anyhow thanks for your help.

Good Luck.
