Title: dd-wrt installing ?

Hi
I would like to instal dd-wrt fw in DIR 882, would you mind giving me an idea about it ?
what to do if it failed & how to get back to dlink fw ?

Strange. Some of the user rights were turned off for this. I fixed it and you should be able to access it now.

sorry, Is it possible to get the same FW 1.2 with 1 modification only
( to be able to set MTU automatic) as in other dlinkrouters ?

sorry I meant exact Dlink fw 1.2 with that modification only (Mtu can be set automatic)  :-[

I don't think so. Has to be set manually. Most cable/fiber ISP services default to 1500 which is mostly default for D-Link FW. DSL is mostly 1472 or 1492 only. So theres only a few values to use. Nothing else would be needed.
