Hi everyone,
I bought a new DAP-1420 access point and connected it via Ethernet to my working router.
Whenever I move my laptop - which is connected to the AP - a little further away, the AP itself automatically reboots!
I tried to reset the AP, restart it, and restart the main router several times, but the issue is still persisting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

- What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at the sticker under the DAP.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Is the main host routers wifi enabled or disabled?
Be sure the FW is up to date.
Be sure your latops wifi adapter drivers are up to date.

The hardware version is: B1
The firmware version is: 1.0.2
I'm located in Turkey, but I cannot reach to the local support since I can't speak the language.
The main host routers wifi is enabled.
The laptop's wifi adapter is up to date. And I'm facing the same problem using my smartphone.

I would return it to the place of purchase.
