I have 1A and 4B points - all connected to Ethernet backhaul. Unfortunately it still does not cover the whole area. I have added TP-Link Range Extender RE450. The signal is very strong so devices connect to the extender very easily. The problem is that connection to internet is not stable. Range Extender generates its own virtual mac addresses for D-link and somehow that creates problem.
Questions:
1. Can I make it work with Extender (it also connected to Ethernet backhaul)
2. Can I buy another set of Covr 1203 and use 2 B units?? so it will be 1A + 6B - all on ethernet backhaul??

You'l need to contact the Mfr of the RE450 and get help from them. I would probably not use that device.
I presume it maybe possible to add more 1203 B Points. You are the first to post having more than 2 B Points. IF you have 4 then sounds like adding more would work. I wanna say the A Point can be converted to B Point however I'm not sure. Hoping a forum Admin may comment on this...

1. how to convert A to B
2. How many B's and converted A's one can have. Currently I have 1 A + 4B. D-link says you can have 6,... Is it 1+5 or 1+6. If all of them on ethernet backhaul - does limit still apply?
