- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- What region are you located?
Can you get to the recovery web page at all by doing this?

If not and the power adapter is not bad, I would presume the router is probably bad. :-\
My DIR-880L exhibits the same problem, steady orange power lit with no connectivity on both wireless and LAN port. Emergency mode recovery mode nor reset can't fix it, even Ethernet cable connection is not possible. If the power adapter is bad, how will I know the power adapter causes this problem.

Try a different power supply and see if it changes anything.
