All the pictures and documentation on this is mis-leading. Makes the size look larger than it really is. :o
Little dinky thing it is. ???
Well for what it cost, I can't complain to much. Got it for $30 bucks. I'll find a place for it somewhere.
Good clear picture. :D

Is that your first 8xxxLH camera? mydlink App 2.0 is coming soon. I haven't seen it but they supposedly revamped it. Hopefully less taps to do basic functions.
I have 1 in a window sill since day 1 and working great. Thing I like about the 8000 vs the other ones is that when night mode is off, the picture is not terrible without the IR. I have a street light outside so it lights the area. The 8010 in same spot is pitch black.
The app needs some help tho... 8)

Yes, I got a email from you guys for cameras on sale, I figured for the price why not. Just looks bigger from the pictures I see. I should know by now that most D-Link pictures don't exactly display size vs perspective. I got taken with a couple of DIR routers years ago. Looked bigger in size in pictures, actual size was much smaller. ::)
Just updated to v2 FW. Installation was fairly smooth. Used the MD Lite app then switched to the MD app to check connection there and also updated FW there.
I might place it where i have my 936L camera out the front window and see how it does.
Will have something new to play with and test. ;D

Yeah it is a little guy but decent picture. Motion detection works better than 936/8010 but still is not perfect.
New toys are fun. I need to try out the new outdoor cams (8630/8302).
Fun fact - datasheets will list the product dimensions ;D

Ok
Still happy with the 936L. Great picture.
960L is still is good though it's DayNight auto flip doesn't work well, It's in a day light room and it's on night mode. :-\
But who looks at data sheet dimensions. ::)

But who looks at data sheet dimensions. ::)
people that want to know how big the product is ;)
Does your 960L run hot?
-
:P
Not really. It sits a top of a refrigerator and there is air vent on the ceiling that bows air over it. Just took a measurement and the hottest spot in on the back at around 96F.
