This happens randomly in terms of time of day or how long between days, but consistently over the last few weeks.
Here is the log from the router.

No idea why this is occurring, the power source is stable. The router itself is not in a main traffic area. Nothing.

What FW version is currently loaded? I see a new version was released today...
-
1.03

I would make contact with D-Link support about this. Possible faulty router. ???
-
It just did it again.
The last time I contacted support they said I needed to use the 2.4GHZ band while sitting less than 10 feet from it, even with one wall between me and it, if I was having problems with the 5GHZ band. I am pretty sure they aren't all that useful, but sure I'll contact them again.

As expected Dlink support is an epic failure.
Try disabling auto channel and manually select channels like 1 6 or 11 for
2.4Ghz radio and 5Ghz 36, 40, 44, or 48. It s best to install something like a wifi scanner app on your phone to determine the best channel that is not in use in the area
This is their response to a randomly restarting router.
-
So is there any other neighboring wifi signals near by? If so, how many are there?

It just rebooted randomly @ 1432 and then did it again @ 1443. Setting the channels manually has had 0 effect on this random reboot. Support is pretty much useless as they keep wanting to fixate on channels.
Even if there were, I am the only router running in the 149,161, or 165 channels to take full advantage of the AX specification. There are houses all around with wifi. They are at least 100 feet from my router. What difference should that make to a router in terms of not rebooting. Are you telling me that DLink is a company with such poor hardware that the only way their router can change channels is to reboot? (Which it shouldn't even be trying since I have the channels manually set) That they cannot operate in the wifi heavy world we live in? I switched from a TP Link whole home system because I wanted a wifi 6 router; I am about to re-install the AC-1300 TP Link system because it never dropped me. Not once. The streaming was better on TP Link AND the signal was better.
The fact that not a single employee of DLink is even looking at the forums to see if there are issues is another strike. Once upon a time DLink had my vote of confidence, but they have lost that at this point.
-
Is the router rebooting or just WiFi dropping? When it reboots do you notice any activity with the modem?
This doesn't sound like a wireless issue. What modem do you have?
I had similar issue with another router and my garbage spectrum modem. They replaced the modem, booster, etc. Router was still rebooting 2-4 times an hour. I bought a new modem, problem solved.
-
The whole router was rebooting, not just wifi dropping. No, the Modem is fine. I would have to go look in the network cabinet to see the modem, but it is fine with the new TPLink router that I replaced this pile with.
The new TPLink never randomly reboots, it has 400+ MBps to speedtest consistently from the same laptop with no other changes. So this is for sure a DLink hardware issue.

Make contact with D-Link support and ask about an RMA.
