Title: Covr 2202 and Dir-x4860 Router
Post by: discman07 on January 26, 2021, 10:20:42 AM
As opposed to adding another node into my covr 2200 system I thought I could integrate an AX Router into the mix.  If I use the 4860 connected to my modem how do I setup the Covr A and B to work with it?  I have ethernet access for both A and B to the 4850.  I'm trying to have the system function as a mesh system without needing different networks all over the place. Dlink support said the two systems won't work together.

The two systems will not work together as one wireless system. at most you could use the COVR2202 as a 2ndary wireless system in AP Mode using a different SSID name.

Guess I'll return the 4860 and buy another 2200 node   :'( Was hoping to upgrade and start getting into Wifi 6.
