Last year a purchased a 3 pack Covr c 1213. Works great, but still have a few weaker spots in the 3000+ sqft home. Locally I can not find single units to purchase to add. After talking to online D-Link, they said to buy Amazon 2 pack and add them in.
I did and awaiting arrival, only concern is that they come preconfigured I believe as one router and one extender. I assume the extender will add to existing mesh no problem once paired, but curious how/if I can add the router one as a point? Can anyone help please?

COVR A points can work as B points. I believe you just need to connect the A point to another B point via ethernet and it will auto configure itself for B Point operation. I did this with a 2nd COVR 2202 system a friend sent me. It works.
