Title: Video Stream (VLC) RSTP for old DCS-2100+ Cam
Post by: ft0jk on December 19, 2021, 01:23:10 PM
Good evening,

I got an old DCS-2100+ video camera as a gift. Under Windows 10, I was able to get the IPInstaller to run and also find the camera, but no picture was output. Neither in IE11, nor Chrome or Firefox. I came across a url while googling with which I now get at least a 320x240 b/w image. The other RSTP links did not work for me. It would be great if I could output the camera image in 640 via the browser and also in color. But the best would be the VideoFeed, very gladly also via VLC, then I can also get it on the Mac to run. Does anyone have an idea what the url might be called for the stream?

320x240 Image Url: http://IPADRESS/cgi-bin/video.jpg

Manual: https://eu.dlink.com/de/de/products/dcs-2100plus-enhanced-2-4ghz-802-11b-wireless-internet-camera

Anyone an Idea ? Thank your very much

I tried rtsp://admin:password@ip_address/live/profile.0 on my DCS-8526lh . Ran nice on VLC, was able to fiddle with contrast and hue...etc.
