It was a pretty easy fix. You will have to run your LG with a static IP in the network menu.
From the D-Link router menu Advanced/Port Forwarding
check the box on the left
Name - Blu ray player
IP-address 192.168.0.5 is what I used
TCP-443
UDP 80,443
click save and let the router reboot and go to your player: Home/Settings/Network/Static IP
IP address 192.168.0.5
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Defalt Gateway 192.168.0.1
DNS Server 192.168.1.1
Mine is now working great. D-Link tech support was very helpful.

If your issue is constant buffering, try this setting:
Under Advanced --> QOS engine --> QOS engine setup
Uncheck Dynamic Fragmentation

;D IT WORKS
Here is how I got it to work.

;D IT Works
Hardware Version A4 for DIR-655
Firmware was originally 1.21 up graded to 1.32NA
Changed Blue ray to static IP of 192.168.0.25 subnet of 255.255.255.0
Gateway to 192.168.0.1 DNS server to 192.168.0.1
on the router advanced -> Port Forwarding Name Blue Ray TCP 80,443
IP address 192.168.0.25 UDP 80,443 left application name and computer name alone then saved settings
advanced -> firewall settings under DMZ host CHECKED ENABLE DMZ
and under DMZ IP ADDRESS added 192.168.0.25 left computer name alone
saved settings
rebooted router
EVERYTHING WORKED. only took 7 hours, but it WORKS.

If your in the DMZ, you should not even need the port forwarding stuff. Anything that is in the DMZ should get all traffic sent through to it. DMZ essentially puts the single machine outside of the routing network and sends through all traffic without the router checking it.

I hope you have really good software firewall on your DMZ pc....
You generally don't want to be using the DMZ for a PC....just my opinion.... Its a shame if thats the only way to get your issue resolved... Seems like there should be a better way to get it done...
