I am running D-ViewCam 2.03 (which I downloaded from D-Link) with a DCS-920. I can see my local camera via home wireless, but cannot connect it my other camera (located elsewhere) via URL. The remote camera is working fine throught my web browser (I.E.) using it's http address, so I know I have a good internet address.
How can I make D-ViewCam 2.03 recognize the remote camera? I have tried manual configuration with no success.
Thanks

Manually add the camera to D-ViewCam Enter the remote IP address or remote and if using dynDNS or something in the IP address. Enter the port used to access the camera and select the correct camera model or the ? button can be used to auto detect the model. Next enter the Username then password and save.

I've tried what you suggest without success. Can you provide an example of a manual address in can I am making some entry error?
-
I'm not sure what your asking.

I am asking for an example of a manual IP address to enter into viewcam in case there is some protocol I'm missing.
As an example if my camera's IP for internet access is: [http://24.31.59.82:81/], why does this address not work in ViewCam for a remote camera? ViewCam does see the camera on my local wireless using its local address [192.168.1.108], and I can see it using my browser.
Do I need to call tech support, or does ViewCam not support remote cameras?

Yes it does support remote cameras. You are entering the remote address as 24.31.59.82 then below enter 81 as the port. It should work fine.
