Title: How do I make multiple cameras available over the internet?
Post by: PHIChiefP on August 30, 2009, 11:38:20 AM
I want to add another DCS-920 camera at a remote location.  Do I assign different ports to each camera?
Can I remotely use D-ViewCam to view the cameras?   I currently have one at that location and it operates great on my web browser remotely, but D-ViewCam (ver 2.04) will not recognize it via http address.  (D-ViewCam will see it locally however).
Thanks

Enable the second HTTP port in the network settings and have each camera on a different secondary port and forward this port to the IP address of the camera in your firewall.

How do you use the D-View cam software over the internet?

Do you want to add remote cameras or access the application remotely?
