Title: Help with setup

Hi I recently purchased the DIR-600. Looked for the exact forum for it and couldn't find it so sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

I have a T1 line piped into my home. Static IP's. I inserted the wizard CD to get the process going and in step 2 while it's looking for my settings, it takes me offline completely. I go to check my static settings and it has changed them to obtain dns automatically. I haven't moved forward with the setup because of this. That computer needs to stay with my IP.

My exhusband had wireless on here before but took that with him so I am trying to set this up with this product. I don't want to proceed if it's going to constantly change my settings. Is this just a temporary thing as the wizard is setting up? Is this normal?  Any help will be appreciated. :)

I did figure this out. I just needed to get a bit further. :)
