I have purchased this camera and I need to upgrade its firmware in order to use some new features. However, this model is not available for my region. In fact, it is only available for East Asia. The DCS-2121 model which is the same but in the wireless form is available for my region. I tried to flash the bin fw downloaded from a few foreign sites, including the Asian but it euther fails or the page exits with a 'forbidden' message.

I contacted d-link support but unfortunately I get no reply.

Sorry We don't have this camera in US Please goto dlink.com and select the region of purchase and firmware should be available if available.

Ok, I found the firmware but when I try to upload, at 2%, the browser opens error page HTTP 505 (Forbidden). The same happens with IE8, mozila FF, Vista, XP PCs
