Title: View IP camera
Post by: andreasy on September 01, 2009, 01:34:26 PM
I have a DCS-2102 IP camera in the network which is detected in network services. I can open the content of the camera and see a cgi file but if i click to open, I get error message that it cannot open this type of file. However, in the manual diagram, it clearly shows that it supports those cameras. Any help please?

This camera has an embedded web server, therefore the content can not be displayed directly by DSM-520 or any other media player. But you can add its content as the new "TV Channel" on Active-TV. See active-tv.blogspot.com and download utorrent_beta_14.zip, read the instructions (you will need to add a new item to myVideoFeeds.xml with your camera's STATIC IP addr). I think this should work. Please post your results.
