When I am streaming music to my PS3 using the built in UPnP, tracks in albums always appear in alphabetical order. Is there any way to fix this (other than renaming 6000 files)?
I am sharing from a sub-folder with separate folders for music, video and photos. I am running the latest (stable) firmware on both. Both are cable connected to my adsl router.
The cause of this seems to be that the id3 tags aren't being seen by the PS3. I can't determine if this is caused by the DNS323 or the PS3. ???
On the plus side I can see and play all my music, but I would love to have the ID3 info so it works right.

After some further testing...
I installed xbmc (upnp client) on my laptop and used it to access my media. I can still see and play the files, but there is still no ID3 info being shared, so I guess it is safe to assume that the DNS323 is at fault here. Albums play in alphabetical order in this software too.
Another thing I noticed was that inotify_upnp constantly runs at 90%+, even when sharing a single folder with 10 songs and not accessing the service.

I assure you it is the dns-323 at fault here. This is a huge oversight of D-link. Please fix!

I agree. I think this is a much needed feature.
