When you open the d-link easy search utility and you hit APPLY the enter password comes up I enter the password and it comes up WRONG ADMIN PASSWORD.
I have went into config and changed the admin password several times now still will not let me login.
Any ideas out there please.

did you try not entering a password?

It looks like you wanted to change the user password you created for a share not the Admin password.

Same thing is happening to me. Is there not a solution to this besides returning the unit?

OK im confused..how do you go into the config and change the admin password if you cannot log in??
And in the ESU where is it that you hit APPLY to log into the unit? APPLY is to enable or disable DHCP the button should be Configuration.

So how about helping me with the same issue. How do I get the DNS 321 to be on the same network as my computer?

Disable receive DHCP on the Easy Search Utility and enter the proper IP address information and click Apply.

Actually the only thing that worked for me was much easier. With the unit turned on I held the reset button on the rear of the DNS-321 for 15 secs and a new address was assigned to my unit by my router, which allowed me to connect it to my network.
