Title: Need WAP for Home Theatre
Post by: SBMongoos on September 09, 2009, 01:10:31 PM
I have a DIR-825/B1/2.02NA.  I'm in a townhome and my home theatre equipment is not too far away. The 825 sits on a loft above and a pretty clear signal with no walls.

I'm wanting to be able to stream some media from the web.  At this point my Blu-ray has VieraCast and it has an RJ-45.  I'd rather not run a cable and would like to try WiFi.

What WAP is recommended?  DAP 1522, 1555 or something else?  I wonder if I could pull it off with a Linksys WRT54GC that I have laying around?  Only an occasional single user of WiFi hitting the 825.
