Title: continuing router issues/pages won't load/ periodically slow connection
Post by: Sent1 on September 14, 2009, 05:44:55 AM
I have upgrade to the latest firmware.

I can stay in the same place with my laptop and watch the signal strength go up and down at about 40 feet from the router--a straight shot down the hallway.

The router is now preventing me from accessing certain web pages like amazon and youtube as well as hindering downloads.

If I can't fix this I most certainly will replace it and it won't be a DLink as this is the 2nd one I have had trouble with.

I know its the router as I have removed it and connected the modem directly to the main computer and everything was fine.

I give up on this forum and DLink. Newegg had a blow out deal Friday. I jumped on it!

shouldn't updated that FW. Nothing but problems on my end. I'm giving D-link 24 hours from my first post to help get my problem resolved before I return this piece of Sh!t, then blast D-link on the DIR 615 review on Newegg, Notebook Review Forums, DSL Reports forums, and shoot my personal friend Dave Taylor a brief review for his blog... You can find my contributions on his site currently ;-)
