Title: DGL-4500 1.02 Firmware!!!!!!
Post by: Lycan on December 20, 2007, 09:30:44 AM
New 1.02 firmware available!

It improves overall stability and performance of the router as well as sleeker look and feel for the OLED. I believe that it also changes the timeout for the OLED on certain screens, for better troubleshooting.

The firmware can be found here along with instructions for installation and much more.

If there are any concerns, questions or comments feel free to post them here and we will do our best to find the answer asap.

Happy gaming.

User was reporting issues with this firmware with "Certifcation errors," that were fixed using:
kb893357
Which can be found on the Microsoft Support Site.
This Knowledge base update adds WPA2 support for Windows, which fixes issues with computers that can get "Certificate Errors" that popup, while using this product firmware.

Additionally, the clock is wrong on the systems display, which is can be off by an hour.

I'll look in to the clock issue. How do you have your time settings configured?

Purchased/installed this router yesterday & immediately upgraded firmware (to 1.02).  When accessing the Advanced > Access Control section, it shifts window content to left (instead of centered) and the following text appears at the very top (above D-LINK header):

?!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Bad/corrupt firmware update?  Something else?  Please advise.

How about the beta code? Does that help?
