Hi,
just confusing "mp3 hold setting" in DPH 125MS phone set. I upload a mp3 file, and when I put on hold on my 125MS phone set, the other perosn still here the default music. I did select "MP3" button under "Hold Tone" in "Phone Setting" page in 125MS web configuration.
Does the mp3 file require any format, ?? kpbs, Hz, mono ? Does the MP3 file will repeat when the music finish?
Thanks
Leon

The recommended MP3 musical format is an 8 KHz sample rate and uses Mono channel. In this format, MP3 music has a smaller size and the system has a longer playing time before looping back to the beginning. Maximum is 200Kb.

I still couldn't make it work. I upload the file, select MP3 from hold tone. Whether anywhere else I should setup?
Thanks

What do you hear on your side? Remember that Hold Music is for the party who puts the other party on hold. Simply put, it is you to listen to it if the other party puts you on hold. I know this sounds confusing, but that is how the Hold Music works with the DPH-125MS.

I here dial tone. When I call party A, my side is 125MS, then I put him on hold, at this moment, party A listen the hold music and I here dial tone.
I upload mp3 file and change setting in my 125MS, party A still listen the deauflt music.

How about when the other party puts you on hold? Do you hear the mp3 music?

No, I hear the other party's on hold music.
Thanks
