Title: problem with print
Post by: jrbilodeau on December 21, 2007, 08:09:23 AM
i tried to use the print server and it doesn`t seem to work right. it properly detects the printer as an hp photosmart 7150 and i can add the printer in window by pointing it to the driver. everything seem to install fine, but if i try to print to it, nothing comes out.

any ideas

Please verify that you have added the printer as shown in this FAQ.

Do you have the most recent drivers available?

ya i tried everything, and i'm a network admin so i know how to setup printers and troubleshoot them and such, but i couldn't get it to work with fw 1.03. I did however get it to work, and its working good now, just didn't seem to want to work with that firmware.

I've had a lot of trouble too, pretty much my only dissapointment with this device. I have a dell A920 AIO and it gets detected as a lexmark (I think they built it for dell), but I could never get it to print.

not really supposed to talk about beta firmware on this forum, especially since its not released in canada or the US on dlinks site.
