Title: New (beta) apps with F/W 1.08

HI Guys,

just curious as to what these 2 new beta apps are and what they do/achieve?

dns323_firefly_package_100_08052009.zip
dns323_noip_ddns_package_100_07292009.zip

any info on these 2 apps/packages to load on the dns-323 would be greatly appreciated.

Based on my understanding, the last beta version is available from the following url:


ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Multimedia/dns323/Beta/Firmware/


Where did you get those files ?

they are in the apps folder instead of the firmware folder, go back a level and go to apps;

ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Multimedia/dns323/Beta/Apps/

Both are add-on application you can installed on yr NAS.
Firefly is a iTunes media server. and noip_ddns is a dynamic DNS (DDNS) service that allows the mapping of a dynamic IP address assigned by DHCP to a hostname.
