And no news regarding the testing that is being conducted in Cali?
I have no choice left but to return this thing then. 4 Computers active in my house and I need this up and running for RDP to my desktop from school....
A shame.

I don't know what D-Link tech. hv done during these months.
Nothing new on the firmware and juz keep customers waiting and waiting.
They knew the firmware's problems but they didn't try to fix it.
They abondoned this product already?

There may have been nothing new in a few months, but there was a frenzy of activity previously, and sending out techs to figure out the problems at peoples homes is a good thing IMO - however, then Lycan / RufiOh asked earlier about possibly testing new hardware, I sent the requisite PM with my HW stats - my router is now 10 months old and I( simply cannot afford to wait for the warranty to lapse, only to be then told that nothing can be done for it.
I paid retail price for this in January, and to have to physically power cycle the router 3-4 days is unwarranted, especially as I used its baby brother, the 4300, for several years before the built in DHCP server stopped working.
I am not trying to down the company, as I have *numerous* products that have worked (and worked quite well) for several years, but at the same time I need a product that works *now*. Being a senior in college, I have to have the connectivity for my ongoing class projects. In the end, my choice is not to hurt D-Link, but to get me a working router.
