Title: How to connect to DNS-323
Post by: BulldogPO on October 07, 2009, 10:59:37 PM
Hi!
I just plugged DNS-323 to my HP 8-port gigabit switch where I have plugged all other of my gear like PC´s, WLNA box and ADSL modem.
Problem is that I do´nt know how to connetc to this box.
IP 192.168.0.32 don´t reply and D-Link EasySearch v2.2.0.0 does not detect any D-lind devices in my network.

I´m using Windows 7 X64.

Reset the DNS-323 to factory defaults.  If it is still not found by the Easy Search utility, there may be a problem with either the NAS or the network connection.

You can also use something like SuperScan (http://"http://www.softpedia.com/get/Network-Tools/Misc-Networking-Tools/SuperScan.shtml") to find all the connected network devices and see if it shows up that way.

Problem was solved by using newest available EasySearch program.

Well, there's always that option. :)

I've never used the Easy Search, I just connect to mine.
