Title: DIR-655 shareport finds printer but won't connect.

I have an Epson printer connected to my DIR-655 with shareport installed and my firewall configured to allow it to communicate past the firewall. I have the drivers installed and the printer is shown in my control panel printers area as well as in Shareport's window which shows the printer as "ready". When I try and connect, it connects briefly and then disconnects immediately. None of the programs I print from have been able to successfully send a document to the printer for printing. I'm using Vista Home premium and have the most recent firmware installed on the router. Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

If you have firmware 1.32 installed downgrade to 1.31 and use shareport 1.1.0.  That fixed it for me.

Also perhaps your USB cable has gone flakey....
