For any one that has a problem with there wireless dropping every ten minutes. shut off your wireless radio and hook this up. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833156232

I managed to get my network to work but while playing games like wow, Ill get a burst of 1500ms lag every other minute or so. Would that fix it because i know i have no problem with connecting directly to the lan ports on the back but I wonder if its the antenna thats causing this.
If so, can that upgrader run both a g network with an n or would I be able to run both the g network on the router for web browsing computers and the upgrader on the n network for gaming computers while having some sort of security on it like a wep key for both?

You are always subject to spikes of lag over wireless. I'll get upwards of 1300ms as well, but it's not normal. Getting that device probably will not help you either, as it will be subject to the same distance, etc.

i figured since the upgrader plugs into one of the lan ports of the router that it would solve the lag problem I'm having because its coming from the antennas on the router. I didn't have a problem like this on my previous router which was a buffalo g router sitting in the same place as this one.
I also timed the lag spikes with a stopwatch and the spike happens almost exactly every minute and 2 seconds. Think it could be a software issue?
My firmware is 1.15 by the way.
